Partner Playbook Summary

In 1776, America didn’t just declare independence. We launched the most courageous startup the world has ever seen. Our nation – built on the promise of opportunity, enterprise, and self-determination – was founded by the entrepreneurial spirit at its heart.

As America celebrates its 250th startup birthday, it’s time to renew that founding spirit — the belief that anyone, anywhere, should have the right to start and build a new endeavor. Today, that spirit is at risk. The system makes it too hard for people to turn ideas into action. And that hurts all of us – because entrepreneurs create nearly all net job growth, lift incomes, build community wealth, reduce poverty, drive innovation, and create prosperity across our country.

It’s time to make entrepreneurship the heart of our national story again.

That’s where partner organizations like yours come in.

When you become a Founding Partner of America the Entrepreneurial, your organization will help lead a national movement to renew our nation’s entrepreneurial spirit. And when the entrepreneurial spirit thrives, America thrives. By joining forces with other like-minded groups – like chambers of commerce, universities, nonprofits, companies, and civic organizations – our Partners will celebrate stories of entrepreneurs, engage the broader public, educate government leaders, mobilize supporters, and drive widespread change.

Every action you take adds up. We’ll track the actions of your organization – plus those of other Founding Partner organizations – and we’ll keep you informed about the collective progress we’re all making.  We plan to nationally recognize the most actively engaged Founding Partners for their leadership.

Together, by taking action, we are building a visible, growing network of communities and organizations working to make entrepreneurship easier, more accessible, and more celebrated. We’re creating a national base of support for entrepreneurship.

Let’s make America’s 250th startup birthday year not just a commemoration of our nation’s founding, but a renewal of its entrepreneurial promise.  That’s how we ensure that “America the Entrepreneurial” endures for the next 250 years, and beyond.
