About
America the Entrepreneurial is a campaign to Renew Our Nation's Entrepreneurial Promise in Honor of America’s 250th Anniversary.
“America the Entrepreneurial” calls us to revive the spirit that built this nation – a promise that anyone should be able to shape a better future. From 1776 onward, America was forged by builders, dreamers, and risk-takers pursuing that promise from all walks of life. Our entrepreneurial legacy sparked industries, innovations, and hundreds of millions of jobs.
But today, that spirit is at risk. Widespread barriers, outdated policies, and lack of civic support are holding back millions of founders from starting and growing a better America. We believe the path forward lies in reigniting the entrepreneurial spirit across the nation.

Entrepreneurship Drives Progress
The facts are clear:

New businesses drive nearly all net job growth and lift community incomes.

Founders earn more over time and can build generational wealth.

Increased entrepreneurship correlates with lower poverty and inequality.
Yet, over 15 million businesses that could exist today never launched—blocked by barriers such as red tape, burdensome fees, and insecurity.
It’s Time to Act
To reignite the entrepreneurial flame by 2026, we must reset how America supports its strivers. Our campaign promotes three key priorities:
Create a Level Playing Field
Streamline regulations, reform tax and procurement policies, and improve access to capital.

Spread Entrepreneurial Knowledge
Expand education, skills, and access to tools and information that help Americans start and grow businesses.

Support Entrepreneurial Households
Address challenges that hit founders especially hard, like healthcare, childcare, homebuying, and income volatility.

America the Entrepreneurial is powered by Right to Start and its partners.
