Invite Your Mayor to become a founding mayor

email your Mayor
A Founding Mayor of America the Entrepreneurial is a city leader who publicly champions entrepreneurship — celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit and helping make their community a place where anyone can start and grow something of their own.

Entrepreneurs start businesses locally: in our neighborhoods, on our main streets, and in our communities. Mayors shape that environment. They set priorities, manage regulations, and have the power to make entrepreneurship visible, valued, and supported at the local level.

As we celebrate America's 250th startup birthday, we're inviting mayors of cities of all sizes to join this national movement — and to help write the next chapter of the American story.
When a Mayor joins America the Entrepreneurial, they're signaling that their city is a place where builders, risk-takers, and job creators are welcome — and that matters.

New and young businesses create virtually all net new jobs in America. They drive innovation, expand opportunity, lift incomes, and strengthen communities. A Mayor who publicly champions entrepreneurship helps create the conditions where more people can turn ideas into businesses — and where local economies can grow from the ground up.

When your mayor becomes a Founding Mayor, your city joins a growing national movement. That means:
This is how change happens — one city, one mayor, one community at a time.
We're calling on supporters across the country to invite their mayor to join America the Entrepreneurial as a Founding Mayor. Our goal: 50 Mayors invited to become Founding Mayors by the end of April.

We've made it simple.
