Your leaders play a powerful role in shaping the entrepreneurial environment. One conversation can spark change. Talk with your government leaders – such as your mayor, councilmember, state representative, school board member, national representative, or others – about why supporting entrepreneurs matters for your community’s future.
We’ve created special America the Entrepreneurial Playbooks for Government Leaders to help local, state, and national leaders take meaningful steps to help people who are starting and growing businesses. Encourage your leaders to sign the Declaration of the Founders to publicly stand for entrepreneurship. You can even encourage them to become Founding Government Leaders in the campaign.

- Designate someone as Entrepreneurship Lead to guide initiatives.
- Create a One-Stop Shop to simplify paths to start and grow.
- Expand Opportunity by reducing fees and cutting red tape.
